Honestly wish I'd switched sooner. I was sick of buying pods all the time and wanted something where I could just use the coffee I already like. It's become such an easy part of my morning now. Ground coffee, water, cup underneath and off it goes. Simple.

Exactly what I was after. I don't need screens, apps or twenty different settings before I've even had my first coffee 😂. Makes a nice filter coffee and takes up barely any room compared with my old machine.

The removable water tank is probably my favourite feature. Sounds minor until you've had a coffee maker that's awkward to fill every single morning. Easy to take out, fill and put back in.

At first I wasn't totally sure what style of coffee to expect. This isn't espresso — it's filter coffee. Once I understood that, I was very happy with it. Worth knowing before you buy.

Worth pointing out that this isn't pretending to be an espresso machine. It's proper filter coffee, which is exactly why I bought it. I've tried a few different ground coffees through it already and it's been great.

We don't have heaps of spare bench space and this fits in without taking over the whole kitchen. That's genuinely what sold me on it.

Love that I can walk into basically any coffee shop or supermarket, grab ground coffee I actually want and use it. No proprietary pods or ridiculous ongoing cost. Big win for me.

I was a little worried “compact” would just be marketing talk but it's genuinely narrow on the bench. Easy to make room for and doesn't make the kitchen look cluttered.

Simple electric filter coffee. Nothing complicated. Nothing unnecessary. Have been using it before work every day and I'm very happy with it.

The machine itself has been great. Just don't order it expecting next-day delivery. Mine took a bit of time to arrive, so I'd allow for the stated delivery window if you're buying it as a gift. Tracking helped.

Being able to use paper or a reusable mesh filter is really handy. I've mostly been using reusable during the week and paper when I want the quickest cleanup possible.

My old pod machine was convenient but I hated constantly buying capsules. This gives me the convenience I wanted while still letting me choose normal ground coffee. Much better setup for me.

I didn't expect to care this much about a coffee maker, but I genuinely look forward to making my first cup now. It just feels calm and easy rather than another rushed thing before work.

Very straightforward. Once you've worked out how strong you like your coffee, there's really not much to think about. Makes mornings easier.

I somehow assumed “portable” meant cordless when I first saw it. It isn't battery powered — you need a power point while brewing. At home or at work that's no issue at all, and I've been using mine constantly.

One of the main reasons I chose this over a larger coffee machine. I didn't want to lose half my bench to something I use once or twice a day.

Probably the best part of it. I already had a ground coffee I loved and didn't want to change just because I'd bought a machine. No issue here.

Being able to actually get to the water reservoir and filter area makes such a difference. I've had machines where cleaning feels like an engineering project. This is much more sensible.

I've been using a reusable filter and my normal ground coffee. Nice not throwing away a pod every time I want a cup.

I'm in an apartment and bench space is precious. This fits where I needed it without having to rearrange everything else.

Really happy overall. Just remember you'll need your coffee and suitable filters ready to go. Once I had everything sorted it was dead easy.

If you're looking for a simple filter coffee rather than café-style espresso, this is a cracking little machine. Does what I need without any nonsense.

I was looking at much bigger machines before realising I pretty much only drink black filter coffee at home. Glad I went with something simpler. Does what I actually need.
