Who handles your information

Kivellan is operated by JVB DIGITAL BUSINESS LTD (company number 16906216, registered in England and Wales), located at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@kivellan.com. This policy covers our store, orders, customer accounts and customer support.

Information we collect

  • Contact and delivery details such as your name, email, delivery and billing addresses, and phone number where provided.
  • Order details, selected products, transaction status, account activity and communications about purchases, returns or support.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring links and cookie identifiers generated when you use the store.
  • Information you choose to send through a contact form or a review, including any attached images.

Payment providers process payment credentials through checkout. We receive information needed to manage the transaction, such as payment status and limited payment-method details. Do not send full card details, passwords or sensitive identification documents in ordinary support messages.

How information is collected and used

We collect information when you browse, order, use an account, contact us or submit content. Shopify and integrated service providers also provide order, payment, delivery, security and technical information.

We use it to operate the store, process payments, fulfil and track orders, answer enquiries, handle returns, maintain records, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. We also use website-performance information to understand and improve the shopping experience. Marketing is handled in accordance with applicable law and your choices; you can unsubscribe from promotional emails without losing order updates.

Our legal bases

Where UK or other applicable data-protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on performance of a contract for purchases and requested support; legal obligations for required records; legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention and service improvement, balanced against your rights; and consent where required for optional marketing or tracking. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Who receives information

We share the information needed for these tasks with Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment and order-management partners, suppliers, carriers, technology providers and professional advisers. For example, a fulfilment partner needs your delivery details and the items ordered; it does not need your full payment-card credentials. We may also disclose information where required by law or for a legitimate business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards.

Shopify and international processing

Shopify hosts our store. Some information is processed by Shopify for its own platform, fraud-prevention and consumer services under its Consumer Privacy Policy. Shopify's Privacy Portal provides information about requests relating to those services.

We and our providers may process data outside Australia. Relevant locations can include the United Kingdom and Spain for store administration, China for supplier fulfilment, and Canada, the United States and other locations used by Shopify and its service providers. Overseas privacy laws can differ. We take the safeguards required by applicable law for international transfers; this policy does not ask you to waive those protections. Contact us for information about a particular disclosure.

Cookies and your choices

Cookies and similar technologies support functions such as keeping your cart, remembering preferences, securing checkout and measuring website use. Depending on the services enabled, they may also support advertising. Where consent is required, we seek the required consent for non-essential technologies and respect your choice.

Use any cookie-preference controls displayed by the store or your browser settings to manage cookies. Blocking some cookies can affect cart and account functions. For more detail, see our Cookies & Privacy Choices page.

Retention and security

We keep information for the purposes described here, including order support and legal record-keeping, and remove or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable requirements. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your requests and complaints

Email contact@kivellan.com to request access or correction, raise a privacy concern, or ask about deletion, objection, portability or other rights available under the law that applies to you. We may reasonably verify your identity and explain any legal reason that prevents us from fulfilling a request. You can browse without providing a name, but we need sufficient information to fulfil an order.

We will review a complaint and aim to respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or the regulator for your location.

Children, external links and updates

The store is intended for people able to make a lawful purchase. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authority, contact us. External websites have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as our services change and will provide further notice or seek consent where required.

Shopify services and privacy choices

Shopify hosts our store and processes visitor and purchase information. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled: information is combined with interactions across Shopify and other merchants for enhanced services, including personalisation and advertising. Data is shared with Shopify and service providers overseas. Where required, we obtain consent for these uses; you can withdraw it. See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and Privacy Portal to exercise applicable rights, including objections and advertising opt-outs.
